We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology/Hematology team at Northwestern Medicine. As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to patients with various types of cancer and blood disorders.
  • Conduct thorough health histories and physical examinations to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and order laboratory tests as needed.
  • Document patient care and education provided in the medical record.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing or physician assistant program.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
  • Acute care certification required for APRNs (or FNPs with inpatient experience).
  • Privileged and credentialed through the Northwestern Medicine Medical Staff Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of APP experience in oncology.
