Position Overview: PACU Registered Nurse
Employment Type: Full-time - 40 hours per week, Day/Evening shifts, 10-hour shifts with staggered start times. On-call duties and rotation for weekends and holidays as per departmental protocols.

About the Role: The selected Registered Nurse will be integral to the PACU team, providing care through various perioperative phases, including Prep & Holding, Phase II, Discharge, and PACU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage peri-anesthetic care for a diverse surgical and procedural patient population.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients, addressing both medical and emotional needs.
- Monitor patients for anesthesia effects and respond accordingly.
- Oversee and document vital signs of patients.
- Perform post-operative duties, including medication administration and dressing changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or commitment to obtain within three years of hire.
- Current RN licensure is mandatory.
- BLS certification is required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire.
- A minimum of two years of experience in Perianesthesia Nursing, Critical Care, or HVIS is required.
