Job Title: Wireless System Automation Development Engineer

At Apple, we're pushing the boundaries of wireless technology to create innovative products that connect people to their world like never before. As a Wireless System Automation Development Engineer, you'll play a critical role in bringing groundbreaking wireless connectivity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Python-based bringup, integration, and debug environment for wireless communication systems.
  • Develop and implement test plans, collect and analyze test results, identify, root-cause, and debug issues.
  • Implement golden calibration algorithms for wireless transceivers in automation infrastructure.
  • Bringup and validate algorithms on real silicon alongside PHY, MAC, RFIC, and digital circuit designers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum qualification is BS+ 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience with Python, Matlab, Shell scripting, and/or C/C++.
  • Knowledge in existing wireless communication protocols: LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay, or Bluetooth/BLE.
  • Experience with automation infrastructure development (traceability, repeatability) and related tools (GIT, CI, database, reporting tools).
