We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Insight Global. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of nurses in the ICU and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage and coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current Kansas RN licensure.
- At least 1 year of RN experience (preferably in ICU) or at least 2 years of recent patient care experience in a similar healthcare setting as a CNA, LPN, or MA.
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
