Job Title: Psychiatrist - Part Time

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the Massachusetts Treatment Center in Bridgewater, MA. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients, as well as psychiatric consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of inmates referred by medical and clinical services staff.
  • Provide written summaries of history, diagnosis, and treatment course.
  • Provide psychiatric services for inpatients, assessment, diagnosis, staffing, treatment planning, and regular review of all inmates assigned.
  • Provide medication management to all inmates admitted.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy as appropriate.
  • Approve, sign, and monitor the implementation and efficiency of treatment plans.
  • Attend training and meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate of medical school and have completed an appropriate psychiatric residency.
  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of Virginia and certified by the Office of Behavioral Health to provide psychiatric services in a licensed inpatient unit.
  • Must have current DEA number.
