Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing timely and accurate information to resolve customer issues.
- Utilize computer systems and databases to research and resolve complex customer issues, working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless resolution.
- Schedule appointments for patients, updating demographics and ensuring accurate information is maintained.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, plans, and benefits to provide informed and empathetic support to customers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service environment, utilizing phones and computers as primary job tools.
- Proficiency in computer navigation and ability to learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Ability to type at an average speed of 40+ WPM.
- Flexibility to work any 8-hour shift schedule during normal business hours, with occasional overtime as needed.
- 1+ year of prior healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner.
- Proficient conflict management skills to resolve issues in a stressful situation.
- Ability to troubleshoot IT/computer issues independently.
