About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Data Coordinator to join our team at Marion Technical College. As a Clinical Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for teaching approved courses in health information management, using applied learning methods to create an engaging environment for students. You will also be responsible for managing classroom records, preparing course materials, and utilizing technology to support web-based courses.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, based on industry standards and the location of Marion Technical College. In addition to a competitive salary, this position offers opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of health information management.

Responsibilities and Functions
  1. Teach approved courses in health information management, using applied learning methods to create an engaging environment for students.
  2. Manage classroom records, including preparing and updating course syllabi, course materials, and technology.
  3. Utilize software programs, systems, and databases used by the college to maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  4. Ability to teach lecture and laboratory courses and operate laboratory equipment.
  5. Work with other faculty and the administration in carrying out all instructional procedures and willingness to follow procedures, both at on- and off-campus locations.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management and RHIT certification required. Exhibit excellent English, communication, and writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with strong computer and related technology skills required.
