About the Role:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief CRNA to lead our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement continuous performance improvement and risk management programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements for anesthesia professionals.
- Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs and maintain efficient perioperative workflow.
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
- Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and evaluations.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
Highlights of the Opportunity:
- Anesthesia Care Team Model with 18 General Anesthesiologists and 54 APPs covering 27 sites of service.
- Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Cardiac, Complex Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, and Pediatrics.
- Annual surgical volume of 24,000+ cases and 3,000+ OB cases.
- Flexible scheduling options with 8/10/12/16 hour shifts available, including shift differentials.
- Beeper call from home with a minimum of 2 hours call back pay.
- Practice top of license with demonstrated proficiency.
Incentive and Benefits Package:
- Competitive salary with additional stipends for Trauma, Complex Neuro, and Pediatrics.
- $75,000 start date bonus.
- Time Away from Practice starting at 8 weeks with no waiting period.
- Premium pay for working past scheduled shifts or picking up extra shifts.
