About the Role
Job Summary:
HCA Enterprise is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to lead our Anesthesiology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of anesthesia professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. Develop and implement continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling. Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
- Education and Training: Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements. Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and evaluations.
- Recruitment and Retention: Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
About the Opportunity

- Dynamic Team: Join a team of 18 General Anesthesiologists, including 3 CV Anesthesiologists, and 54 APPs covering 27 sites of service.
- Diverse Case Mix: Manage a diverse mix of cases, including Trauma, Cardiac, Complex Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GI, and Pediatrics.
- Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy a flexible schedule with 40 hours per week, including 8/10/12/16 hour shifts, with shift differentials available.
- Competitive Compensation: Receive excellent compensation, including a base salary, stipends for Trauma, Complex Neuro, and Pediatrics, and a $75k start date bonus.
