Position Summary

We are currently in search of a Customer Service Representative dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our clientele. This role entails identifying and implementing effective solutions for our customers. Responsibilities include managing order entries, providing product information, and ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries. This position plays a vital role in supporting both our customers and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Proactively identify issues, explore alternative solutions, and take corrective actions to resolve customer problems.
  2. Provide exceptional support and service to customers while keeping all parties informed of status updates.
  3. Collaborate with team members and engage in group problem-solving activities.
  4. Act as a liaison between external customers and internal departments to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  5. Communicate effectively with customers and account managers, demonstrating urgency and professionalism.
  6. Process purchase orders, change orders, lab requests, and quotes for assigned accounts in accordance with established policies.
  7. Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints regarding products, quality, and delivery, including complex or escalated concerns.
  8. Support Business Development Managers for assigned accounts, collaborating to investigate and resolve customer issues.

Qualifications

  • Preferred college degree.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience in technical manufacturing or engineering teams is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Proficient in preparing professional correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills with both customers and team members.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
