Job Title: Cage Cashier

At Monarch Casino Resort & Spa Black Hawk, we are seeking a skilled Cage Cashier to join our team. As a Cage Cashier, you will be responsible for processing guest transactions, ensuring a positive guest experience, and maintaining the security and accuracy of cash handling operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Process guest transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Count, reconcile, and balance cash and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain custody of funds and prepare reports and records of transactions.
  • Process documentation based on current gaming regulations and department procedures.
  • Check guests for proper identification.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
  • 1-2 years prior cash handling or cashier experience required.
  • 1-2 years prior guest service experience required.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to speak and write English.
  • Ability to read and understand information and instructions presented in writing.
  • Strong general mathematical skills.
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and continuously use hands.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25lbs and occasionally up to 45lbs.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
