About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Store Leader to join our team at Petco. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of store department managers and driving business results through a focus on people, performance, and process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a team that embodies the Petco brand by delivering exceptional customer service and driving guest loyalty.
- Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team of top talent, and train, coach, and develop department-level leaders and hourly store partners.
- Ensure quick and courteous service to all customers by helping partners determine their needs and sharing product knowledge to enable them to suggest the appropriate merchandise.
- Meet or exceed goals related to total store sales, profitability, and operational excellence, and schedule and adjust labor hours and payroll to maximize productivity.
- Market the store and its products, oversee planning of in-store and community events, and ensure the proper health, appearance, welfare, and proper handling of all animals.
Requirements:
- Passion for pets and focus on process excellence.
- Drive for results and ability to lead and influence.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
