We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist Certified to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a Surgical or Operating Room Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team in positioning patients and preparing the operating room.
- Monitor and maintain sterile techniques throughout the procedure.
- Pass instruments, sponges, and sutures to the surgical team as needed.
- Assist in the monitoring of patients during procedures.
- Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room.
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CAAHEP, NCCT, NBSTSA).
- BLS certification (American Heart or American Red Cross).
- Experience in hospital-based surgical tech preferred.
