Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Safety Leadership: Develop and implement quality and safety initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and reduce medical errors.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Ascension leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Associate Engagement and Retention: Focus on associate engagement and retention by executing initiatives designed to reduce turnover and increase retention.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare.
  • Nursing Policy and Procedure Development: Collaboratively develop and implement Ascension nursing policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Performance Management: Provide feedback, coaching, development, and performance reporting to nursing staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in nursing, business administration, or health administration.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in nursing leadership, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Credentials: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing, and Nurse Executive credentialed from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
