Catering Assistant Job Description

Asbury Communities is seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all set up is accurate and completed in a timely manner for scheduled events, interacting and coordinating set up needs with other departments, and loading and unloading food, tableware, and catering supplies onto and off catering vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and break down catering events in a timely and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding catering requests and needs
  • Answer guests' catering-related questions during events and address any complaints
  • Label, date, and rotate all food products in the catering pantry
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active driver's license in good standing
  • One year of related catering experience
