Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to support our Orthopedic, Neurology, and Pulmonary departments in Columbia, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic examinations using X-ray equipment to create detailed images of specific body parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic examinations using X-ray equipment to create detailed images of specific body parts.
  • Utilize portable X-ray equipment as needed for patient convenience.
  • Regularly check and maintain radiologic equipment, supplies, and accessories to ensure optimal operation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment; coordinate with outside services for major malfunctions.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and request or order supplies as necessary to ensure availability.
  • Lift and transport patients safely as required.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed to support the department.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited radiology program (typically a two-year associate degree in radiology).
  • Radiographer certification (ARRT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
