We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Infotainment Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python coding and a strong background in automotive infotainment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform validation of CarPlay and next-generation CarPlay on 100+ automation setups of phones and iPads running CarPlay Simulator.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct lab maintenance, software and firmware updates, and assist with experiments.
- Monitor and escalate issues to QA DRIs.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Mac and iOS hardware.
- Excellent debugging skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Interest in HW testing.
- Familiarity with Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python.
Equipment:
- Apple-provided MacBook.
Success Criteria:
- CEQA automated test output stays consistently > 90%.
- All lab management tasks and requests are performed in a timely manner.
- Clear and timely communication with the team.
- All defect reports are written clearly with all applicable logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc.
