Senior Wi-Fi Connectivity Specialist for Global Consumer Product Company

**Wi-Fi Connectivity Field Test Engineer**
We are seeking an experienced Connectivity Product Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Wi-Fi products, with a focus on field testing in various environments. This role will require a hands-on approach to validate and optimize connectivity products for real-world usage.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough testing of WiFi products, with an emphasis on field testing in environments such as coffee shops, malls, parks, and gyms.
- Utilize sniffers, analyzers, and other testing tools to assess product performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, report, and resolve defects and inconsistencies in product functionality.
- Leverage Python scripting for automated testing procedures and data analysis.
- Compile and maintain detailed test reports, documenting test methodologies, results, and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including lab technicians and other test engineers, to ensure comprehensive product testing.
**Qualifications:**
- 2-6 years of proven experience in WiFi products, with a strong focus on field testing.
- Proficient in using sniffer and analyzer tools for testing and troubleshooting.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with lab testing environments and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
This is a contract position with a pay rate range of $50-60/hr DOE.
