Avery Dennison is a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and solutions. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our North America Finance Early Career Program.

About the Program

The North America Finance Early Career Program is a 36-month program designed to develop the next generation of finance leaders. The program provides a unique blend of experiential on-the-job learning and classroom and virtual training. Associates will rotate through three different positions, gaining real-world experience and developing key skills in areas such as forecasting, financial planning and analysis, business partnership, accounting, and cost accounting.

Responsibilities
  • Gain real-world exposure by working in positions that have a direct impact on our organization's objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
  • Work cross-functionally with finance peers and provide financial support to teams across the North American business.
  • Develop key skills and proficiencies in areas such as forecasting, financial planning and analysis, business partnership, accounting, and cost accounting.
  • Support projects and assignments that have a direct impact on the business, such as monthly forecasting, month-end and quarter-end reporting requirements, and annual operating plan and strategic plan processes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this program, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field, with an expected graduation date of December 2024 (to start in January 2025) or May 2025 (to start in June 2025).
  • Previous internship or co-op experience, or relevant work experience.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience in building financial models.
  • Experience via student organizations, such as Beta Alpha Psi, Association of Latino Professionals of America, Multicultural Business Association, etc.
  • Volunteerism or similar activities.
  • The ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
