Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Family Health Center of Worcester. As a key member of our Psychiatric Services team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients, working collaboratively with primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of care and apply the lens of trauma-informed care to your practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide medication management and other interventions as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Strong clinical skills in psychiatric assessment and medication management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
  • Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Perinatal Psychiatry, psychiatric care for homeless/unhoused populations, and care of patients with co-occurring substance use disorders (including prescription of buprenorphine) is highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an ANA-accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing required.
