Mental Health Professional

As a Mental Health Professional at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services, as needed.
- Collaborate with treating physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in staff conferences to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and any challenges or concerns.
- Develop and maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
- May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation, providing after-hours support and crisis intervention services.
- Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of DSM-V, evidence-based practices, and psychotherapy research methods.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
- Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity, with a commitment to quality of service and teamwork.
