Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Graphic Design Adjunct Instructor to join our faculty pool. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Graphic Design courses at the College of the Canyons.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Graphic Design courses, including Graphic Design for Print and Specialty in Type and Typography.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse students.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Graphic Design.
  • OR - Any bachelor's degree and two (2) years of full-time equivalent professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment or the equivalent.
  • OR - Any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment or the equivalent.
Working Conditions

Assignments may include Monday through Friday (day and evening), as well as Saturday classes. Adjunct Salary Rate: Starting at $88.30 per hour.
