Key Responsibilities- Providing nursing care in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute care environments
- Collaborating with residents and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
- Ensuring residents receive appropriate treatments and medications
- Communicating care options effectively with residents and their families
- Consulting with other healthcare professionals, including physicians
- Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
- Ensuring compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
- Documenting interventions and maintaining accurate medical histories
- Performing laboratory sample collections
- Leading and mentoring nursing staff
- Assisting with incident investigations and ensuring accurate reporting
- Valid Ohio state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- A minimum of 4 months' experience in post-acute care or inpatient hospital settings
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
