Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Leader to join our team at Kroger. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team of associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Performance Management: Analyze sales data, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with store management, associates, and customers to ensure seamless execution of store initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
