**Job Summary:**
Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer, is seeking a Rental Coordinator to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a key member of our Rental team, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing rental agreements for customer rentals of Caterpillar and allied equipment. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate and process rental agreements for customer rentals of Caterpillar and allied equipment
* Perform general administrative tasks in support of the Rental team
* Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers
* Work closely with the Rental team to ensure seamless execution of rental business
* Maintain accurate records and reports
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Experience in the equipment rental industry and knowledge of equipment applications preferred
* Demonstrated results in a customer service role
* Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
* Technical aptitude and ability to learn new software programs
* Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Physical requirements include sitting or standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 20 pounds
