**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team in the EP Lab. As a key member of our team, you will assist physicians during invasive and cardiology procedures, perform data reduction of electrophysiology studies, and assist with implantation of stents, ICDs, and pacemakers.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist physicians during all invasive and cardiology procedures
* Perform and complete data reduction of all electrophysiology studies
* Assist with implantation of stents, ICDs, and pacemakers
* Ensure accurate data input during procedures
* Verify that all supporting documentation required for procedures is present in patient records
* Report any equipment issues to the appropriate person in a timely manner
* Communicate any issues with supplies, training, or processes to the Assistant Director or Director
* Collaborate with anesthesia to ensure patient safety
* Participate in the development and fulfillment of the mission goals of the EP Lab
* Complete any additional offsite training necessary
* Participate in patient and patient family education regarding EP procedures
* Maintain proper communication with vendors whose presence is required/requested for procedures
* Handle and transport medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures
* Adhere to all protocols as outlined for procedures

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* BLS within 90 days of hire
* Previous Cath/EP lab experience preferred
* Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist preferred
