Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child
  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, assessments, and progress monitoring to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, teachers, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for children
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, research, and industry developments to maintain expertise and provide evidence-based care
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or Counseling with relevant licensure or supervision
  • Working knowledge of state and community resources available to foster care agencies
  • Knowledge of therapeutic foster care and Kentucky's state regulating bodies and standards of practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
