Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Set and communicate team priorities that align with the organization's goals, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and evolve the technical vision and roadmap for your team(s), anticipating future requirements and infrastructure needs.
  • Code Development: Design, guide, and vet systems designs, writing code to solve ambiguous problems and ensuring best practices.
  • Code Review: Review code developed by other engineers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 8 years of experience in software development, with 3 years in a technical leadership role and 2 years in people management or team leadership.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
