Job Title: Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will play a critical role in supporting service and new product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and maintain all FSMA and TraceGains related information.
  • Work closely with TraceGains to improve the effectiveness of our system and integrate a recent acquisition into the TraceGains system.
  • Collaborate with Procurement colleagues and Product Development to obtain data needed to set up new materials.
  • Assist in ordering materials for a portion of our supply chain.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the Procurement group.
  • Work with Warehouse and QA teams to request needed documents.
  • Maintain system parameters and develop and update standard work related to this role.
  • Continuously improve current practices through continuous improvement actions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance immediate and long-term priorities.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills and ability to establish positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Strong drive to develop or improve existing processes and systems.
