Job Summary
The Army National Guard is seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as CH-47 Helicopter Repairers. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and readiness of our Chinook helicopters.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies, including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls
- Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems
- Inspect and repair aircraft wings, fuselages, and tail assemblies
- Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks
- Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting
Required Skills
- Engine disassembly and repair
- Repair of aluminum, steel, and fiberglass airframes/coverings
- Fixing hydraulic, fuel, and electrical systems

Training and Development
As a CH-47 Helicopter Repairer, you will receive comprehensive training in aircraft maintenance and repair. This includes 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, where you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role.
