Avionics Technician Job Description

Byerly Aviation Inc is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of avionics systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain avionics systems, including radios, navigation systems, and communication equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in avionics systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on avionics systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest avionics technologies and systems.
Requirements:
  • Valid certificate as a mechanic with an airframe rating.
  • Strong background and work history performing avionics repairs, installations, and modifications on general aviation piston singles, twins, turboprops, and light jets.
  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
