Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Amber Electrical Contractors. As a key member of our commercial electrical services team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing various electrical systems and equipment in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, cables, and control systems.
  • Conduct daily electrical maintenance operations, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical circuits and equipment.
  • Collaborate with control engineers and maintenance mechanics to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
  • Install and maintain electrical services, including power distribution systems and lighting circuits.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with OSHA safety standards and local and federal codes.
  • Report and track all maintenance activities in our company's CMMS program.
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentice electricians.
Requirements
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with PLC controllers and rigid conduit systems.
  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
  • Promote and support ISO 9001 standards as they apply to the department.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
