Key Responsibilities
  • Support Nursing Staff: Collaborate with our nursing team to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for our patients.
  • Patient Care Activities: Perform routine tasks and patient care activities under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, including vital signs, weights, ADLs, intake and output documentation, and nutritional monitoring.
  • Communication and Documentation: Effectively communicate and document patient observations, vital signs, and other relevant information in the patient record.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and provide exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Adhere to Oceans Healthcare's policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, to ensure a safe and compliant environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: High school graduate or equivalent with CNA certification or at least 6 months of prior bedside, direct patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with diverse populations.
  • Cultural Competence: Utilize Age, Disability, and Cultural Specific knowledge in working with specialized populations to best communicate with those clients.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Must be in good physical and mental health, with a warm empathetic attitude, respect for dignity, worth, and potentiality of clients, and a high sense of personal integrity.
