Residential Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Specialist to join our team at Community Residences. As a Residential Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being.
- Provide daily living assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Assist with medication administration and monitoring, as required.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- At least two years of experience in human services, preferably in a residential setting.
- Valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and transfer 70-75lbs, as required.
