Job Overview

Common Links Construction is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the company's risk is effectively mitigated while providing support to all accounting/administrative positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and provide input on contract terms and conditions to ensure effective risk management.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management and Accounting teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Manage project/contract insurance requirements, including Certificates of Insurance (COI) and subcontract distribution.
  • Oversee the pre-qualification process to ensure vendors meet company standards.
Accounting Support
  • Process certified payroll submissions and provide cross-training in payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable tasks.
  • Assist with monthly billings, lien waiver requests, document filing, and general data entry.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of contract language and processes, including construction contracts and administrative experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Excel and other relevant programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
