Role Summary: This role involves the operation of machines that process copper or aluminum wires, either by screening or stranding them around a central core to create conductors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate screening or stranding machinery within a cable manufacturing environment.
  • Independently set up the machinery, including selecting tools, configuring pay-off and take-up systems, establishing operational parameters, and consistently monitoring product quality.
  • Utilize electronic interfaces (Human Machine Interface) to manage the screening or stranding processes effectively.
  • Exhibit strong mechanical skills, with the capability to handle and transport heavy reels of materials.
  • Maintain accurate logs of production and quality metrics in accordance with Gulf Cable systems.

Required Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience operating a screening or stranding line in a manufacturing setting.
