Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
* Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and regulations.
* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
* Manage month-end and year-end close process.
* Conduct detailed risk analysis and financial reviews.
* Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
* Liaise with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
* Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
* Direct the activities of staff in the accounting department and ensure they have the necessary resources and skills to efficiently perform their roles.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
* Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
* High proficiency in using BaaN ERP system.
* Strong understanding and experience with GAAP and SEC regulations.
* Proven experience with financial reporting, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
* Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of cost accounting principles.
* Ability to direct and supervise accounting staff.
* Solid experience with MS Office and financial management software.
* Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
