Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
- Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Strictly adhere to Walgreen Co. policies and procedures, including Good Faith Dispensing and Quality Improvement Program.
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
