Night Auditor

At Hyatt House Chicago/Oak Brook, we are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our daily revenues and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit daily revenues for accuracy and completeness.
• Balance and reconcile all room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest accounts.
• Prepare and transmit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents.
• Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures, using computerized methods.
• Regularly calculate and/or post monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit.
• Answer inquiries and accept reservations, both in person and by telephone.
• Maintain good customer relations by answering questions and taking care of customer concerns in a timely and knowledgeable manner.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
• Previous customer service or hotel experience required.
• Friendly demeanor and excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good organizational and prioritization skills.
• Prior computer experience using windows-based software preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Physically and visually able to utilize a computer keyboard, printer, phones, and basic office supplies.
• Firm and simple grasping is an ongoing requirement for all aspects of work.
• Lifting of supplies occurs occasionally, usually not more than 25 lbs. but may be up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time through the work day.
