- Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment by following established procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure accurate medication packaging and labeling.
- Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
- Fill exception trays with the correct medications.
- Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through various workflow stages, from initial dispense to quality control.
- Count and fill prescription vials, affixing labels on bulk prescription items.
- Pack and ship completed orders, including printing and affixing labels on dispenser and shipping boxes.
- Sort and triage boxes for shipping at the right time.
- Support the distribution manager and pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
- Package medications for dispensing and delivery.
- Standing, bending, reaching above the head, kneeling, crouching, and stretching during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Lifting and moving products up to 49 lbs in weight.
- Manual dexterity of hands and wrists.
- Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor, with a strong understanding of English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize and identify patient medications.
- 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools.
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting productivity and quality standards.
