Job Description

Forward Slope Inc. is seeking a highly skilled DevOps / Platform Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative technologies for automating, integrating, and delivering containerized web applications and services for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Develop security-hardened container images to comply with operational DoD compliance.
  • Create automated Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline daily software development operations.
  • Collaborate with highly talented professionals and subject matter experts to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical software systems.
  • Work with Linux operating systems, automation and scripting tools, and cyber security practices.
Requirements:
  • Currently hold an active U.S. security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent.
  • CompTIA Security+ Certified or able to obtain within 30 days.
  • Demonstrated 6+ years of DevOps experience with containerization, container orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD automation, Linux operating systems, automation and scripting, and cyber security practices.
