We are a property management company, The Susan Horak Group, seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine accounting records, owner's statements, tenant ledgers, property-based financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Reconcile invoices and report any discrepancies to the management team.
- Reconcile general ledger account balances and ensure accuracy.
- Develop and analyze financial reporting for business operations and budgets.
- Perform audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Create new processes to improve financial effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Experience in reconciling credit cards and identifying discrepancies.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
