JOB SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the upkeep of tax documentation and the preparation of tax filings and associated reports for designated areas.
  • Submit federal, state, or local tax returns while developing and implementing tax strategies aimed at reducing tax obligations.
  • Generate taxable income forecasts, financial statements, and specialized accounting reports.
  • Assist in tax return audits and compliance documentation. Prepare and present reports for management or regulatory bodies.
  • Address inquiries related to tax accounting policies, procedures, and issues from management, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure adequate accounting and control measures for assigned areas.
  • Our Fund Administration division provides value-added services to a diverse and expanding client base, including mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, offshore funds, and other investment entities.
  • In a complex and evolving legal and regulatory landscape, clients seek tax professionals who comprehend the industry, investments, and client objectives.
  • Our tax professionals serve as trusted advisors to clients and accounting firms, developing and executing innovative tax planning strategies that optimize tax positions and mitigate risks.
  • The Tax Compliance Specialist will be part of a diverse team dedicated to supporting our clients while fostering your professional development.
  • As a key team member, you will provide value-added services to investment firms and advisors.
  • In our role as trusted advisors, team members collaborate internally within the firm, with clients, and with mid-sized, regional, and Big 4 accounting firms.
  • Through our internal training programs and mentorship, you will receive support as you advance in your career.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • One to two years of relevant work experience.
