Family Practice and Forensics Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Family Practice and Forensics team at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

About the Role

This is an 18-bed Family Medicine and 10-bed Forensic unit, providing support for patients with acute illnesses and management of patients with chronic conditions in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive setting.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated group of professionals to excel in the care of highly diverse medical patients.
  • Develop and utilize critical thinking skills to create individualized plans of care.
  • Participate in a team that fosters engaged Nurse/Provider relationships and supports collaborative work.
Requirements

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

  • Minimum six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program.
  • Preferred - Relevant RN Experience and Certification.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
