Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing various accounting functions, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Transaction Management: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and collections.
  • AppFolio Management: Utilize AppFolio software for property management accounting, including rent roll maintenance, tenant billing, and lease management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies. Assist with audits and regulatory filings as needed.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide analytical support and insights for financial decision-making, including variance analysis and cost tracking.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Generate and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience using AppFolio.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in AppFolio accounting software.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Certifications: CPA or CPA candidate is a plus, but not required.
Pay Details:

$60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
