Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Press Brake Machinery: Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select and Install Tooling: Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
  • Monitor Machine Operations: Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as needed.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve issues related to production and machinery.
  • Adhere to Safety Guidelines: Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete Production Reports: Complete production reports and documentation accurately.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing setting.
  • Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Press Brake Machinery Knowledge: Strong knowledge of press brake machinery and tooling.
  • Mathematical Calculations: Ability to perform mathematical calculations and measurements with precision.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Metal Familiarity: Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
