Machinist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Human Resource Dimensions. As a Machinist, you will play a critical role in our Valve and Mechanical Services department, working hand-in-hand with our service operations team to execute machining methods and assist in valve and mechanical repair engagements.

• Machining and Fabrication: Makes all set-ups on tooling and machine, runs all machines in the shop efficiently, and machines parts one at a time with production techniques.
• Quality and Safety: Maintains excellent housekeeping standards, participates in Safety, Quality, and Activities Committees, and adheres to all safety, quality, and company rules and regulations.
• Travel and Physical Demands: Overnight travel required, must be willing to work on site at customer facilities, and able to lift objects weighing up to 44lbs, navigate/climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding at client and customer sites.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience with valves, machining, welding, or fabricating.
• Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relations skills, experience in the process control industry, and knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process-related problems.
