EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

We are seeking dedicated

Emergency Medical Technicians

who are committed to providing empathetic, high-quality medical assistance and advanced patient care to our community.


Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate each emergency situation to determine the most effective response while adhering to established Paramedic protocols.

Employ your EMT skills with medical apparatus and techniques, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery systems, and intravenous therapies to deliver superior medical support.

Engage with patients and their families to offer reassurance and information regarding the care being administered.
Serve as the team leader for EMT operations, taking charge of scene management and unit oversight as required.
Operate the emergency vehicle during urgent responses.

Collaborate professionally with all healthcare and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

Additional

Responsibilities:
Participate in community outreach initiatives to uphold AMR's reputation and foster strong community ties.
Minimum Required

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Kansas EMT certification or eligibility for Kansas certification
Valid State Driver's License
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required within 6 months of employment
NREMT certification preferred
Driving record in compliance with company standards
Successful completion of Physical Agility Test
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
