About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Controller to join our team at GoJet Airlines. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Flight Control, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
  • Monitor and maintain a current operating status of all aircraft, including tracking maintenance repairs and advising flight operations of status.
  • Coordinate with stores to ensure expeditious movement of parts to support maintenance operations.
  • Facilitate communication between Flight Control/Dispatch and maintenance teams to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Authorize and manage maintenance-related tasks, including DMI, CDL, NEF, and carryover items.
  • Monitor and record all aircraft mechanical interruptions to the flight schedule.
  • Complete necessary forms to obtain approval for MEL extensions, short-term escalations, and ferry flight authorizations.
  • Ensure aircraft being repaired at outstations have appropriate rated inspectors available for RII items.
  • Monitor LC-1, LC-2, and Short-Term ADs inspection compliance schedule.
  • Ensure ODM agencies utilized are on the ODM list and that the individual on-demand mechanic is specifically trained on the ODM list.
  • Complete on-demand maintenance log form MX-040 and forward copies to Maintenance Control Manager.
  • Provide guidance for ODM personnel who make records of maintenance performed into the aircraft maintenance log.
  • Perform maintenance log recording requirements and maintain damage evaluation program files MX-044.
  • Maintain compass compensation records and perform special task control over maintenance requirements.
  • Track repetitive tasks with intervals of less than a month or 200 flight hours/cycles and ensure previous compliance times are loaded correctly into Sabre.
  • Adhere to professional standards and perform general administrative duties.
Requirements
  • Hold a mechanic certification with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Two years of aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Required to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri area.
  • Significant CRJ 700/900 troubleshooting experience preferred.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Outstanding attendance record in present position.
