Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize inventory and order management electronic systems to carry out essential tasks such as receiving, put-away, stock rotation, and cycle counts.
  • Conduct laboratory services, including the receipt and reconciliation of chemical inventory.
  • Adhere to established work processes as outlined in our procedural documentation.
  • Maintain proactive communication with supervisors regarding customer concerns and potential issues.
  • Actively listen to customer feedback and address issues effectively, aiming for resolution within set timeframes.
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a laboratory environment.
  • Prior experience in inventory control and management is essential.
  • Experience in unpacking goods from pallets and organizing them on shelves.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Familiarity with systems is beneficial; training will be provided.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Proven customer service skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Skills and Abilities
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with a strong emphasis on communication and customer service.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various levels of personnel and customers.
  • Ability to operate handheld scanners and learn data entry in various systems as required, along with analytical skills for report reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with basic to intermediate skills.
  • Capability to work independently in customer environments, which may involve exposure to chemical-based allergens.
  • Compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull weights of 30-40 pounds consistently, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
